Since 2004, Telluride Adaptive has made a significant commitment to providing programming and services to active military and veterans with disabilities. Each year, TASP provides all expense paid or heavily subsidized programming to over 100 disabled service men or women, which accounts for roughly a quarter of our programming. These dynamic experiences span rock climbing amongst snowcapped peaks, handcycling through desert sandstone, and skiing down world-renowned steeps and are carefully tailored to each individual and group that participates. TASP proudly provides these diverse recreational opportunities by partnering with organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project or Semper Fi in order to provide top quality experiences to those who have served and live with a disability. TASP continually seeks out new military endeavoring partnerships with likeminded organizations in order to further support our country’s service members with disabilities.
TASP proudly is a registered provider for the DOD SkillBridge Transition program, providing an apprenticeship opportunity for active duty military service members as they transition out of the military. For those interested in more information about the position, please click here.
